ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਲਿਵ ਲੀਣੁ ਹੋਇ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਚਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ।

Absorbing consciousness into the Word, the gurmukhs meet at the true meeting centre of the holy congregation.

ਹੁਕਮ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ਨ ਆਪੁ ਜਣਾਇਆ ।

hukam rajaaee chalanaa aap gavaae na aap janaaeaa |

They move in the will of the Lord and erasing their ego they do not make themselves to be noticed.

ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਅਵੇਸੁ ਕਰਿ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰਿ ਅਚਾਰਿ ਲੁਭਾਇਆ ।

gur upades aves kar praupakaar achaar lubhaaeaa |

ਪਿਰਮ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਅਪਿਉ ਪੀ ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਈ ਅਜਰੁ ਜਰਾਇਆ ।

ਮਿਠਾ ਬੋਲਣੁ ਨਿਵਿ ਚਲਣੁ ਹਥਹੁ ਦੇ ਕੈ ਭਲਾ ਮਨਾਇਆ ।

mitthaa bolan niv chalan hathahu de kai bhalaa manaaeaa |

They speak sweetly, move humbly and giving donations wish everybody well.

ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਇਕੁ ਅਰਾਧਣਾ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ।

eik man ik araadhanaa dubidhaa doojaa bhaau mittaaeaa |

Decimating their dubiety and sense of duality, they with single mind adore that One Lord.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਨਿਜ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ।੪।

Gurmukhs know themselves in the form of the fruit of delight and attain the supreme bliss.
