ਕਿਉ ਸੁਤ ਗਊਅਨ ਲਿਆਇ ਇਹਾ ਇਹ ਤੈ ਹਮਰੋ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਦਧਿ ਖੋਯੋ ॥

kiau sut gaooan liaae ihaa ih tai hamaro sabh hee dadh khoyo |

“O son! why have you brought the cows here? In this way, the production of milk for us has declined

ਚੂੰਘ ਗਏ ਬਛਰਾ ਇਨ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਤੇ ਹਮਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਹੋਯੋ ॥

choongh ge bachharaa in ke ih te hamare man mai bhram hoyo |

All the calves have drunk their milk and this illusion persists in our mind”

ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਫਰੇਬ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਤਿਨ ਸੋ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਮਹਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਜੁ ਕਰੋਯੋ ॥

kaanrah fareb kariyo tin so man moh mahaa tin ke ju karoyo |

Krishna did not tell them anything and in this way, he increased their feeling of attachment

ਬਾਰਿ ਭਯੋ ਤਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਮਨੋ ਤਿਹ ਮੈ ਜਲ ਸੀਤਲ ਮੋਹ ਸਮੋਯੋ ॥੧੮੩॥

baar bhayo tat krodh mano tih mai jal seetal moh samoyo |183|

Seeing the form of Krishna, the anger of all cooled down like water.183.

ਮੋਹਿ ਬਢਿਯੋ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਨਹਿ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਕੈ ਅਪਨੇ ਸੁਤ ਕੋਊ ॥

mohi badtiyo tin ke man mai neh chhodd sakai apane sut koaoo |

The affection increased in the minds of all, because no one of them could abandon his son

ਗਊਅਨ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਕੈ ਬਛਰੇ ਇਤਨੋ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਕਰੈ ਤਬ ਸੋਊ ॥

gaooan chhodd sakai bachhare itano man moh karai tab soaoo |

The affection of cows and calves could be forsaken

ਪੈ ਗਰੂਏ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਗੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਲੈ ਤਿਨ ਚਉਕਿ ਹਲੀ ਇਹਿ ਬਾਤ ਲਖੋਊ ॥

pai garooe grihi ge sang lai tin chauk halee ihi baat lakhoaoo |

In the way, gradually, remembering all these things all went to their homes

ਦੇਵ ਡਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਇਨ ਪੈ ਕਿ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਿਧੋ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਇਹ ਹੋਊ ॥੧੮੪॥

dev ddaree mamataa in pai ki charitr kidho har ko ih hoaoo |184|

Seeing all this Yashoda was also frightened and thought that possible this was some miracle of Krishna.184.

ਸਾਲ ਬਿਤੀਤ ਭਇਓ ਜਬ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਬਨ ਬੀਚ ਗਏ ਦਿਨ ਕਉਨੈ ॥

saal biteet bheo jab hee har jee ban beech ge din kaunai |

ਦੇਖਨ ਕਉਤਕ ਕੌ ਚਤੁਰਾਨਨ ਸੀਘ੍ਰ ਭਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਉਠਿ ਗਉਨੈ ॥

dekhan kautak kau chaturaanan seeghr bhayo tih ko utth gaunai |

After the lapse of several years, once Krishna went to the forest, Brahma also reached there in order to see his wonderful play

ਗ੍ਵਾਰ ਵਹੈ ਬਛੁਰੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਹੈ ਵਹ ਚਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਾਇ ਗਇਓ ਹੁਇ ਤਉਨੈ ॥

gvaar vahai bachhure sang hai veh chakrit jaae geo hue taunai |

He was astonished to see the same gopa children and calves that he had stolen

ਦੇਖਿ ਤਿਨੈ ਡਰ ਕੈ ਪਰਿ ਪਾਇਨ ਆਇ ਕੈ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਛਉਨੈ ॥੧੮੫॥

dekh tinai ddar kai par paaein aae kai aanand dundabh chhaunai |185|

Seeing all this, Brahma fell at the feet of Krishna, in fear and in bliss he began to play musical instruments denting rejoicings.185.
