ਸਾਕੀ ਮਰਾ ਤੋ ਜੁੱਰਾ-ਇ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਤਿਆਕ ਦੇਹ ।

saakee maraa to juraae jaan isatiaak deh |

Still, only an enlightened persons can be called 'a man of faith and religion'. (259)

ਤਾ ਰੂਏ ਤੇ ਬੀਨਮ ਦੂਰੀ ਫ਼ਰਾਕ ਦੇਹ ।੬੨।੧।

taa rooe te beenam dooree faraak deh |62|1|

Only the eye of an enlightened person deserves a glimpse of the Almighty;

ਦਰ ਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਬੀਨਮ ਚੂੰ ਰੁਖ਼ਿ ਤੁਰਾ ਮੁਦਾਮ ।

dar har taraf beenam choon rukh turaa mudaam |

And, it is only the heart of a knowledgeable person who is familiar with His mysteries. (260)

ਬਾ ਦਿਲ ਮਰਾ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਅਜ਼ ਅਫ਼ਤਰਾਕ ਦੇਹ ।੬੨।੨।

baa dil maraa khalaasee az afataraak deh |62|2|

You should develop friendship with the noble souls and should keep their company;

ਚੂੰ ਬੇ ਤੋ ਹੇਚ ਨੇਸਤ ਚੂੰ ਬੀਨੇਮ ਬ-ਹਰ ਕੁਜਾਸਤ ।

choon be to hech nesat choon beenem baehar kujaasat |

So that, with the Providential blessings, you may be redeemed from the cycles of transmigration. (261)

ਤਾ ਦੀਦਹ ਓ ਦਿਲਿ ਮਰਾ ਤੋ ਇੰਤਫ਼ਾਕ ਦੇਹ ।੬੨।੩।

taa deedah o dil maraa to intafaak deh |62|3|

Whatever is visible in this world is all due to company of saintly persons;

ਚੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਆਈਨਾ-ਇ ਦਿਲ ਅਜ਼ ਸਵਾਦਿ ਗ਼ਮ ।

choon saaf gashat aaeenaae dil az savaad gam |

Because our bodies and souls are, in fact, the soul of the Provident. (262)

ਬਾ ਵਸਲ ਖ਼ੁਦ-ਨਮਾਈ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਜ਼ਿ ਬਾਂਕ ਦੇਹ ।੬੨।੪।

baa vasal khudanamaaee rihaaee zi baank deh |62|4|

The pupils of my eyes are fully lighted only because of their company;

ਗੋਇਆ ਬ-ਹਰ ਕੁਜਾ ਕਿ ਬ-ਬੀਨਮ ਜਮਾਲਿ ਤੋ ।

goeaa baehar kujaa ki babeenam jamaal to |

And, the dirt of my body, for the same reason, is transformed into a lush garden. (263)

ਤਾ ਦਿਲਿ ਮਰਾ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀਏ ਅਜ਼ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਦੇਹ ।੬੨।੫।

taa dil maraa khalaasee az daradanaak deh |62|5|

Blessed is that association that has transformed a dirt into a cure-all;
