ਮਾਲੁ ਮੁਲਕੁ ਚਤੁਰੰਗ ਦਲ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਪਤਿਸਾਹੀ ।

maal mulak chaturang dal duneea patisaahee |

If being master of army having four divisions (elephant, chariot, horse and infantry), country and the wealth;

ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਨਿਧਿ ਬਹੁ ਕਰਾਮਾਤਿ ਸਭ ਖਲਕ ਉਮਾਹੀ ।

ridh sidh nidh bahu karaamaat sabh khalak umaahee |

If having attraction for others due to possession of miracles through ridhis and siddhis;

ਚਿਰੁਜੀਵਣੁ ਬਹੁ ਹੰਢਣਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਿਆਨ ਉਗਾਹੀ ।

chirujeevan bahu handtanaa gun giaan ugaahee |

If living a long life full of qualities and knowledge

ਹੋਰਸੁ ਕਿਸੈ ਨ ਜਾਣਈ ਚਿਤਿ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹੀ ।

horas kisai na jaanee chit beparavaahee |

And if being enough powerful to care for nobody is still engrossed in dilemma,

ਦਰਗਹ ਢੋਈ ਨ ਲਹੈ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਬਦਰਾਹੀ ।

daragah dtoee na lahai dubidhaa badaraahee |

He cannot have shelter in the court of Lord.

ਪੀਰ ਮੁਰੀਦਾਂ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਸੁ ਘਾਹੀ ।੧੬।

peer mureedaan piraharree paravaan su ghaahee |16|

Due to love for his Guru, even an ordinary grass cutter Sikh becomes acceptable.
