ੴ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹ ॥

ik oankaar vaahiguroo jee kee fatah |

ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਿਓ ਬਿਧਨਾ ਸੋਈ ਪਾਯਤੁ ਮਿਸ੍ਰ ਜੂ ਸੋਕ ਨਿਵਾਰੋ ॥

jo kichh lekh likhio bidhanaa soee paayat misr joo sok nivaaro |

O friend! whatever the providence has recorded, it will surely happen, therefore, forsake your sorrow

ਮੇਰੋ ਕਛੂ ਅਪਰਾਧੁ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਯੋ ਯਾਦ ਤੇ ਭੂਲ ਨਹ ਕੋਪੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੋ ॥

mero kachhoo aparaadh naheen gayo yaad te bhool neh kop chitaaro |

There is no fault of mine in this I had only forgotton (to serve you earlier) do not get enraged on my error

ਬਾਗੋ ਨਿਹਾਲੀ ਪਠੋ ਦੈਹੋ ਆਜੁ ਭਲੇ ਤੁਮ ਕੋ ਨਿਹਚੈ ਜੀਅ ਧਾਰੋ ॥

baago nihaalee pattho daiho aaj bhale tum ko nihachai jeea dhaaro |

I shall surely cause to send the quilt, bed etc. as religious gift

ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਸਭੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਿਪਨ ਕੇ ਇਨਹੂ ਪੈ ਕਟਾਛ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੈ ਨਿਹਾਰੋ ॥੧॥

chhatree sabhai krit bipan ke inahoo pai kattaachh kripaa kai nihaaro |1|
