Pauree:

ਇਹੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਸਭੁ ਧਰਮੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸਚੇ ਕੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਜੋਤਿ ॥

eihu sareer sabh dharam hai jis andar sache kee vich jot |

This body is the home of Dharma; the Divine Light of the True Lord is within it.

ਗੁਹਜ ਰਤਨ ਵਿਚਿ ਲੁਕਿ ਰਹੇ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਕਢੈ ਖੋਤਿ ॥

guhaj ratan vich luk rahe koee guramukh sevak kadtai khot |

Hidden within it are the jewels of mystery; how rare is that Gurmukh, that selfless servant, who digs them out.

ਸਭੁ ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਇਕੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਇਕੋ ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ॥

sabh aatam raam pachhaaniaa taan ik raviaa iko ot pot |

When someone realizes the All-pervading Soul, then he sees the One and Only Lord permeating, through and through.

ਇਕੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਇਕੁ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਇਕੋ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਸਰੋਤਿ ॥

eik dekhiaa ik maniaa iko suniaa sravan sarot |

He sees the One, he believes in the One, and with his ears, he listens only to the One.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਤੂ ਸਚੁ ਸਚੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੋਤਿ ॥੧੬॥

jan naanak naam salaeh too sach sache sevaa teree hot |16|

O servant Nanak, praise the Naam, the Name of the Lord; this is your service to the Lord, the Truest of the True. ||16||
