ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥

ਸਜੇ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਬਾਜੀ ਰਥੰ ਜਾਸੁ ਜਾਨੋ ॥

saje sayaam baajee rathan jaas jaano |

ਮਹਾ ਜੰਗ ਜੋਧਾ ਅਜੈ ਤਾਸੁ ਮਾਨੋ ॥

mahaa jang jodhaa ajai taas maano |

He, whose black horses and chariots are decorated, he is known as the great unconquerable warrior

ਅਸੰਤੁਸਟ ਨਾਮ ਮਹਾਬੀਰ ਸੋਹੈ ॥

ਧਰੇ ਛੀਨ ਬਸਤ੍ਰੰ ਮਲੀਨੰ ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰੀ ॥

dhare chheen basatran maleenan daridree |

ਧੁਜਾ ਫਾਟ ਬਸਤ੍ਰੰ ਸੁ ਧਾਰੇ ਉਪਦ੍ਰੀ ॥

dhujaa faatt basatran su dhaare upadree |

ਮਹਾ ਸੂਰ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰੋਰੀ ਸਮਾਨੰ ॥

mahaa soor choree karoree samaanan |

ਲਸੈ ਤੇਜ ਐਸੋ ਲਜੈ ਦੇਖਿ ਸ੍ਵਾਨੰ ॥੨੧੦॥

ਬਡੋ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਜੋਧੀ ਕਰੋਧੀ ਕਰਾਲੰ ॥

baddo chitr jodhee karodhee karaalan |

ਤਜੈ ਨਾਸਕਾ ਨੈਨ ਧੂਮ੍ਰੰ ਬਰਾਲੰ ॥੨੧੩॥

tajai naasakaa nain dhoomran baraalan |213|
