ਕੇਸਵ ਜੂ ਸੰਗ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਭੂਮਿ ਬਿਖੈ ਸੁਭ ਖੇਲ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥

kesav joo sang gvaaran ke brij bhoom bikhai subh khel machaayo |

Lord Krishna’s amorous play with the gopis became very famous in the land of Braja

ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਦੇਖਿ ਤਬੈ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸੁਰ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਚੁਰਵਾ ਤਿਨ ਭਛਨਿ ਆਯੋ ॥

gvaaran dekh tabai bisvaasur hvai churavaa tin bhachhan aayo |

The demon Vishwasura, seeing the gopis came to devour them assuming the form of a thief

ਗ੍ਵਾਰ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਲਖਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥

gvaar hare har ke bahute tih ko fir kai har joo lakh paayo |

He abducted many gopas and Krishna after a good deal of search recognised him

ਧਾਇ ਕੈ ਤਾਹੀ ਕੀ ਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਗਹੀ ਬਲ ਸੋ ਧਰਨੀ ਪਰ ਮਾਰਿ ਗਿਰਾਯੋ ॥੭੮੮॥

dhaae kai taahee kee greev gahee bal so dharanee par maar giraayo |788|

Krishna ran and caught hold of his neck and dashed him against the earth and killed him.788.
