Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl:

ਐਸੀ ਮਾਂਗੁ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਤੇ ॥

aisee maang gobid te |

Beg for such blessings from the Lord of the Universe:

ਟਹਲ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਸੰਗੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਜਪਿ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ttehal santan kee sang saadhoo kaa har naamaan jap param gate |1| rahaau |

to work for the Saints, and the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Chanting the Name of the Lord, the supreme status is obtained. ||1||Pause||

ਪੂਜਾ ਚਰਨਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਰਨਾ ॥

poojaa charanaa tthaakur saranaa |

Worship the Feet of Your Lord and Master, and seek His Sanctuary.

ਸੋਈ ਕੁਸਲੁ ਜੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਕਰਨਾ ॥੧॥

soee kusal ju prabh jeeo karanaa |1|

Take joy in whatever God does. ||1||

ਸਫਲ ਹੋਤ ਇਹ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਦੇਹੀ ॥

safal hot ih duralabh dehee |

This precious human body becomes fruitful,

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਇਆ ਕਰੇਹੀ ॥੨॥

jaa kau satigur meaa karehee |2|

when the True Guru shows His Kindness. ||2||

ਅਗਿਆਨ ਭਰਮੁ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਦੁਖ ਡੇਰਾ ॥

agiaan bharam binasai dukh dderaa |

The house of ignorance, doubt and pain is destroyed,

ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਪੈਰਾ ॥੩॥

jaa kai hridai baseh gur pairaa |3|

for those within whose hearts the Guru's Feet abide. ||3||

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥

saadhasang rang prabh dhiaaeaa |

In the Saadh Sangat, lovingly meditate on God.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੪॥

kahu naanak tin pooraa paaeaa |4|4|

Says Nanak, you shall obtain the Perfect Lord. ||4||4||
