ਪੰਚ ਪਯਾਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਚੋਰਹਿ ਦਯੋ ਦਿਖਾਇ ॥

panch payaade sang lai choreh dayo dikhaae |

When five officials called in she showed the thief to them,

ਇਹ ਪੈਂਡੇ ਆਯੋ ਹੁਤੋ ਮੈ ਸੁਤ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥੮॥

eih paindde aayo huto mai sut kahiyo bulaae |8|

And told, ‘ He was roaming around and I have adopted him as our son.(8)
