Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:

ਅਬ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੁ ਚਿਤਾਰਿਆ ॥

ab har raakhanahaar chitaariaa |

Now, I contemplate and meditate on the Lord, the Saviour Lord.

ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਕੀਏ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸਗਲਾ ਰੋਗੁ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

patit puneet kee khin bheetar sagalaa rog bidaariaa |1| rahaau |

He purifies sinners in an instant, and cures all diseases. ||1||Pause||

ਗੋਸਟਿ ਭਈ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਮਿ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਮਾਰਿਆ ॥

gosatt bhee saadh kai sangam kaam krodh lobh maariaa |

Talking with the Holy Saints, my sexual desire, anger and greed have been eradicated.

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਨਾਰਾਇਨ ਸੰਗੀ ਸਗਲੇ ਤਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥

simar simar pooran naaraaein sangee sagale taariaa |1|

Remembering, remembering the Perfect Lord in meditation, I have saved all my companions. ||1||

ਅਉਖਧ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੂਲ ਮਨ ਏਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥

aaukhadh mantr mool man ekai man bisvaas prabh dhaariaa |

The Mul Mantra, the Root Mantra, is the only cure for the mind; I have installed faith in God in my mind.

ਚਰਨ ਰੇਨ ਬਾਂਛੈ ਨਿਤ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪੁਨਹ ਪੁਨਹ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥੧੬॥

charan ren baanchhai nit naanak punah punah balihaariaa |2|16|

Nanak ever longs for the dust of the Lord's feet; again and again, he is a sacrifice to the Lord. ||2||16||
