ਲਾਲ ਬਤ੍ਰ ਪਗਿਯਾ ਹਰੀ ਲਈ ਇਜਾਰ ਉਤਾਰ ॥

laal batr pagiyaa haree lee ijaar utaar |

‘One who took the red turban, made the trousers to be taken off,

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਉਬਾਰਾ ਸਾਹ ਕਾ ਹੋਇ ਕਵਨ ਕੀ ਨਾਰਿ ॥੯॥

praan ubaaraa saah kaa hoe kavan kee naar |9|

‘And saved the life of the Shah, the woman should go to him.(9)

ਲਾਲ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਹਰ ਪਹੁਚਿਯਾ ਜਹਾ ਨ ਪਹੁਚਤ ਕੋਇ ॥

laal basatr har pahuchiyaa jahaa na pahuchat koe |

‘The one who, with red clothes, reached the place where no one else could go,

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਉਬਾਰਿਯੋ ਸਾਹ ਕੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕਵਨ ਕੀ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੦॥

praan ubaariyo saah ko triyaa kavan kee hoe |10|

‘And the one who saved the life of the Shah, the woman should be given to him.’(10)
