ਪਾਇ ਤਰਾਜੂ ਤੋਲੁ ਨ ਅਤੁਲੁ ਤੁਲਾਈਐ ।

paae taraajoo tol na atul tulaaeeai |

It cannot be purchased; on weighing scale it cannot be weighed.

ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਤਖਤੁ ਅਡੋਲੁ ਨ ਡੋਲਿ ਡੋਲਾਈਐ ।

nij ghar takhat addol na ddol ddolaaeeai |

Stabilizing in one’s own self and not getting frivolous in his way of life.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੰਥੁ ਨਿਰੋਲੁ ਨ ਰਲੇ ਰਲਾਈਐ ।

guramukh panth nirol na rale ralaaeeai |

This way is distinct and does not become defiled even when joined with some one else.

ਕਥਾ ਅਕਥ ਅਬੋਲੁ ਨ ਬੋਲ ਬੁਲਾਈਐ ।

kathaa akath abol na bol bulaaeeai |

Its story is indescribable.

ਸਦਾ ਅਭੁਲੁ ਅਭੋਲਿ ਨ ਭੋਲਿ ਭੁਲਾਈਐ ।

sadaa abhul abhol na bhol bhulaaeeai |

This way transcends all ommissions and all anxieties.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੰਥੁ ਅਲੋਲੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਈਐ ।

guramukh panth alol sehaj samaaeeai |

Absorbed in equipoise this gurmukh-way of life gives balance to life.

ਅਮਿਓ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਝੋਲੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਈਐ ।

amio sarovar jhol guramukh paaeeai |

The gurmukh quaffs from the tank of nectar.

ਲਖ ਟੋਲੀ ਇਕ ਟੋਲੁ ਨ ਆਪੁ ਗਣਾਈਐ ।੫।
