Pauree:

ਜਿਥੈ ਜਾਈਐ ਜਗਤ ਮਹਿ ਤਿਥੈ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਈ ॥

jithai jaaeeai jagat meh tithai har saaee |

Wherever I go in this world, I see the Lord there.

ਅਗੈ ਸਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਚਾ ਨਿਆਈ ॥

agai sabh aape varatadaa har sachaa niaaee |

In the world hereafter as well, the Lord, the True Judge Himself, is pervading and permeating everywhere.

ਕੂੜਿਆਰਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਹ ਫਿਟਕੀਅਹਿ ਸਚੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥

koorriaaraa ke muh fittakeeeh sach bhagat vaddiaaee |

The faces of the false are cursed, while the true devotees are blessed with glorious greatness.

ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚਾ ਨਿਆਉ ਹੈ ਸਿਰਿ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਛਾਈ ॥

sach saahib sachaa niaau hai sir nindak chhaaee |

True is the Lord and Master, and true is His justice. The heads of the slanderers are covered with ashes.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚੁ ਅਰਾਧਿਆ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈ ॥੫॥

jan naanak sach araadhiaa guramukh sukh paaee |5|

Servant Nanak worships the True Lord in adoration; as Gurmukh, he finds peace. ||5||
