ਬਾਪੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਸਦ ਚਰੰਜੀਵੀ ॥

baap hamaaraa sad charanjeevee |

My Father is Eternal, forever alive.

ਭਾਈ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਜੀਵੀ ॥

bhaaee hamaare sad hee jeevee |

My brothers live forever as well.

ਮੀਤ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਸਦਾ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥

meet hamaare sadaa abinaasee |

My friends are permanent and imperishable.

ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਾਸੀ ॥੧॥

kuttanb hamaaraa nij ghar vaasee |1|

My family abides in the home of the self within. ||1||

ਹਮ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਸਭਹਿ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ॥

ham sukh paaeaa taan sabheh suhele |

I have found peace, and so all are at peace.

ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਮੇਲੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

gur poorai pitaa sang mele |1| rahaau |

The Perfect Guru has united me with my Father. ||1||Pause||

ਮੰਦਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚੇ ॥

mandar mere sabh te aooche |

My mansions are the highest of all.

ਦੇਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅਪੂਛੇ ॥

des mere beant apoochhe |

My countries are infinite and uncountable.

ਰਾਜੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ॥

raaj hamaaraa sad hee nihachal |

My kingdom is eternally stable.

ਮਾਲੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਅਖੂਟੁ ਅਬੇਚਲੁ ॥੨॥

maal hamaaraa akhoott abechal |2|

My wealth is inexhaustible and permanent. ||2||

ਸੋਭਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਭ ਜੁਗ ਅੰਤਰਿ ॥

sobhaa meree sabh jug antar |

My glorious reputation resounds throughout the ages.

ਬਾਜ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ॥

baaj hamaaree thaan thanantar |

My fame has spread in all places and interspaces.

ਕੀਰਤਿ ਹਮਰੀ ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਹੋਈ ॥

keerat hamaree ghar ghar hoee |

My praises echo in each and every house.

ਭਗਤਿ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਸਭਨੀ ਲੋਈ ॥੩॥

bhagat hamaaree sabhanee loee |3|

My devotional worship is known to all people. ||3||

ਪਿਤਾ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਮਾਝ ॥

pitaa hamaare pragatte maajh |

My Father has revealed Himself within me.

ਪਿਤਾ ਪੂਤ ਰਲਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਸਾਂਝ ॥

pitaa poot ral keenee saanjh |

The Father and son have joined together in partnership.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਉ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਤੀਨੇ ॥

kahu naanak jau pitaa pateene |

Says Nanak, when my Father is pleased,

ਪਿਤਾ ਪੂਤ ਏਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਲੀਨੇ ॥੪॥੯॥੨੨॥

pitaa poot ekai rang leene |4|9|22|

then the Father and son are joined together in love, and become one. ||4||9||22||
