Third Mehl:

ਨਦਰੀ ਆਵਦਾ ਨਾਲਿ ਨ ਚਲਈ ਵੇਖਹੁ ਕੋ ਵਿਉਪਾਇ ॥

nadaree aavadaa naal na chalee vekhahu ko viaupaae |

That which is seen, shall not go along with you. What does it take to make you see this?

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਸਚੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਸਚਿ ਰਹਹੁ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥

satigur sach drirraaeaa sach rahahu liv laae |

The True Guru has implanted the True Name within; remain lovingly absorbed in the True One.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਬਦੀ ਸਚੁ ਹੈ ਕਰਮੀ ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥

naanak sabadee sach hai karamee palai paae |2|

O Nanak, the Word of His Shabad is True. By His Grace, it is obtained. ||2||
