ਨਟ ਨਾਇਕ ਸੁਧ ਮਲਾਰ ਬਿਲਾਵਲ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਬੀਚ ਧਮਾਰਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
natt naaeik sudh malaar bilaaval gvaarin beech dhamaaran gaavai |
ਸੋਰਠਿ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਸੁ ਬਿਭਾਸ ਭਲੇ ਹਿਤ ਸਾਥ ਬਸਾਵੈ ॥
soratth saarang raamakalee su bibhaas bhale hit saath basaavai |
The chief dancer Krishna began to sing and play on the musical modes of Shuddh Malhar, Bilawal, Sorath, Sarang, Ramkali and Vibhas etc.
ਗਾਵਹੁ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਨੀ ਤ੍ਰੀਯ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਬੁਲਾਵਤ ਹੈ ਉਪਮਾ ਜੀਯ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
gaavahu hvai mriganee treey ko su bulaavat hai upamaa jeey bhaavai |
ਮਾਨਹੁ ਭਉਹਨ ਕੋ ਕਸਿ ਕੈ ਧਨੁ ਨੈਨਨ ਕੇ ਮਨੋ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਵੈ ॥੫੯੩॥
maanahu bhauhan ko kas kai dhan nainan ke mano teer chalaavai |593|
He began to attract by singing the doe-like women and it seemed that on the bow of the eyebrows, he was discharging with tightness the arrows of his eyes.593.
ਮੇਘ ਮਲਾਰ ਅਉ ਦੇਵਗੰਧਾਰਿ ਭਲੇ ਗਵਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਹਿਤ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
megh malaar aau devagandhaar bhale gavaree kar kai hit gaavai |
ਜੈਤਸਿਰੀ ਅਰੁ ਮਾਲਸਿਰੀ ਨਟ ਨਾਇਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਸਾਵੈ ॥
jaitasiree ar maalasiree natt naaeik sundar bhaat basaavai |
Krishna is singing and playing beautifully on the musical modes of Megh Malhar, Devgandhar, Gauri, Jaitshri, Malshri etc.
ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਰੀਝ ਰਹੈ ਸੁਰ ਜੋ ਸੁਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
reejh rahee brij kee sabh gvaarin reejh rahai sur jo sun paavai |
All the women of Braja and also the gods, who are listening it, they are getting fascinated
ਅਉਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਕਹਾ ਕਹੀਯੈ ਤਜਿ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਸਭਾ ਸਭ ਆਸਨ ਆਵੈ ॥੫੯੪॥
aaur kee baat kahaa kaheeyai taj indr sabhaa sabh aasan aavai |594|
What more should be said, even the gods of the court of Indra, forsaking their seats, are coming to hear these Ragas (musical modes).594.
ਖੇਲਤ ਰਾਸ ਮੈ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਰਸ ਸੰਗ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਤੀਨੋ ॥
khelat raas mai sayaam kahai at hee ras sang treeyaa mil teeno |
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਅਰੁ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮੁਖੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨ ਸੁਤਾ ਸਜਿ ਸਾਜ ਨਵੀਨੋ ॥
chandrabhagaa ar chandramukhee brikhabhaan sutaa saj saaj naveeno |
Absorbed in the amorous play, Krishna is talking to the adorned Chandarbhaga, Chandarmukhi and Radha edxtremely passionately
ਅੰਜਨ ਆਖਨ ਦੈ ਬਿੰਦੂਆ ਇਕ ਭਾਲ ਮੈ ਸੇਾਂਧੁਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਦੀਨੋ ॥
anjan aakhan dai bindooaa ik bhaal mai seaandhur sundar deeno |
In the eyes of these gopis there is antimony, a fixed mark on the forehead and saffron on the parting of the hair on the head
ਯੌ ਉਜਪੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਤ੍ਰੀਯ ਕੈ ਸੁਭ ਭਾਗ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ਅਬੈ ਮਨੋ ਕੀਨੋ ॥੫੯੫॥
yau ujapee upamaa treey kai subh bhaag prakaas abai mano keeno |595|
It seems that the fortune of these women has risen just now.595.
ਖੇਲਤ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਸੋ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਰਸ ਜੋ ਉਮਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
khelat kaanrah so chandrabhagaa kab sayaam kahai ras jo umahiyo hai |
A profound shower of pleasure was experienced, when Chandarbhaga and Krishna played together
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਤਿਹ ਸੋ ਬਹੁ ਲੋਗਨ ਕੋ ਉਪਹਾਸ ਸਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
preet karee at hee tih so bahu logan ko upahaas sahiyo hai |
These gopis in deep love for Krishna endured ridicules of many people
ਮੋਤਿਨ ਮਾਲ ਢਰੀ ਗਰ ਤੇ ਕਬਿ ਨੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
motin maal dtaree gar te kab ne tih ko jas aise kahiyo hai |
ਆਨਨ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਮਨੋ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਛਪਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਧਿਆਰੁ ਪਤਾਰਿ ਗਯੋ ਹੈ ॥੫੯੬॥
aanan chandr mano pragatte chhap kai andhiaar pataar gayo hai |596|
The necklace of pearls has falled down from her neck and the poet says that it seems that on the manifestation of the moon-face, the darkness has concealed itself in the nether-world.596.
