ਇਮਿ ਚੇਰੇ ਤਿਨ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥

ਸੁਨਿ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੈ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥

sun saahib tai kahiyo hamaaro |

Then the slave went to the master and said, ‘Listen my Lord, I want to tell you,

ਜਬ ਯਹਿ ਤੁਹਿ ਸੋ ਯੌ ਲਖਿ ਲੈਹੈ ॥

jab yeh tuhi so yau lakh laihai |

Then the slave went to the master and said, ‘Listen my Lord, I want to tell you,

ਤਬ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੋਊ ਅੰਡ ਚਬੈਹੈ ॥੬॥

tab tere doaoo andd chabaihai |6|

‘When she wil1 see you sleeping, she will bite your eggs.’(6)

ਬਤਿਯਾ ਤੇ ਪਠਾਨ ਚਿਤ ਧਾਰੀ ॥

batiyaa te patthaan chit dhaaree |

ਵਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਸੋ ਨਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥

vaa triy so neh pragatt uchaaree |

The Pathan listened carefully but asked nothing from her.

ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਜਬ ਤਿਹ ਪਤਿ ਸ੍ਵੈ ਗਯੋ ॥

sang lai jab tih pat svai gayo |

ਤਬ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤਿਹ ਕੌ ਬਚ ਭਯੋ ॥੭॥

tab simaran tih kau bach bhayo |7|

When he took her into the bed and went to sleep, he recollected this.(7)

ਹੇਰਨਿ ਅੰਡ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕਰ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

heran andd triyaa kar ddaariyo |

ਪਤਿ ਚਮਕ︀ਯੋ ਕਰ ਖੜਗ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

pat chamakayo kar kharrag sanbhaariyo |

The woman started to grope his eggs. The husband took out a sword,

ਤਬ ਹੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤਾ ਕਹ ਹਨਿ ਦਿਯੋ ॥

tab hee triy taa keh han diyo |

ਬਹੁਰੋ ਨਾਸ ਆਪਨੋ ਕਿਯੋ ॥੮॥

bahuro naas aapano kiyo |8|

And killed the woman, and ruined himself too.(8)
