Maalee Gauraa, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਭ ਕੈ ਸੰਗੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੂਰਿ ॥

sabh kai sangee naahee door |

He is with all; He is not far away.

ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਹਾਜਰਾ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

karan karaavan haajaraa hajoor |1| rahaau |

He is the Cause of causes, ever-present here and now. ||1||Pause||

ਸੁਨਤ ਜੀਓ ਜਾਸੁ ਨਾਮੁ ॥

sunat jeeo jaas naam |

Hearing His Name, one comes to life.

ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੁਖ ਕੀਓ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥

dukh binase sukh keeo bisraam |

Pain is dispelled; peace and tranquility come to dwell within.

ਸਗਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ॥

sagal nidh har har hare |

The Lord, Har, Har, is all treasure.

ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਰੇ ॥੧॥

mun jan taa kee sev kare |1|

The silent sages serve Him. ||1||

ਜਾ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥

jaa kai ghar sagale samaeh |

Everything is contained in His home.

ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਇ ਨਾਹਿ ॥

jis te birathaa koe naeh |

No one is turned away empty-handed.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥

jeea jantr kare pratipaal |

He cherishes all beings and creatures.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥੨॥

sadaa sadaa sevahu kirapaal |2|

Forever and ever, serve the Merciful Lord. ||2||

ਸਦਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਦੀਬਾਣਿ ॥

sadaa dharam jaa kai deebaan |

Righteous justice is dispensed in His Court forever.

ਬੇਮੁਹਤਾਜ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਾਣਿ ॥

bemuhataaj nahee kichh kaan |

He is carefree, and owes allegiance to no one.

ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਨਾ ਆਪਨ ਆਪਿ ॥

sabh kichh karanaa aapan aap |

He Himself, by Himself, does everything.

ਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਜਾਪਿ ॥੩॥

re man mere too taa kau jaap |3|

O my mind, meditate on Him. ||3||

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥

saadhasangat kau hau balihaar |

I am a sacrifice to the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਜਾਸੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥

jaas mil hovai udhaar |

Joining them, I am saved.

ਨਾਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਨ ਤਨਹਿ ਰਾਤ ॥

naam sang man taneh raat |

My mind and body are attuned to the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਰੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥੪॥੫॥

naanak kau prabh karee daat |4|5|

God has blessed Nanak with this gift. ||4||5||
