ਪਤਿਯਾ ਖੋਲਿ ਜਬੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਚੀ ॥

patiyaa khol jabai har baachee |

ਲਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਮਨ ਸਾਚੀ ॥

lakhee preet taa kee man saachee |

On reading the letter Sri Krishna perceived the true love she was in.

ਤਾ ਕੇ ਤਿਨ ਜੋ ਕਬਿਤੁ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥

taa ke tin jo kabit uchaare |

All the letters of epistle, studded with diamonds and pearls,

ਜਾਨੁਕ ਬਜ੍ਰ ਲਾਲ ਖਚਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੧੪॥

jaanuk bajr laal khach ddaare |14|

Instilled a deep compassion in his heart.(14)
