Salok, Fifth Mehl:

ਉਠੰਦਿਆ ਬਹੰਦਿਆ ਸਵੰਦਿਆ ਸੁਖੁ ਸੋਇ ॥

autthandiaa bahandiaa savandiaa sukh soe |

While standing up, sitting down and sleeping, be at peace;

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਲਾਹਿਐ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥

naanak naam salaahiai man tan seetal hoe |1|

O Nanak, praising the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the mind and body are cooled and soothed. ||1||
