ਵਣ ਵਿਚਿ ਫਲੈ ਵਣਾਸਪਤਿ ਬਹੁ ਰਸੁ ਗੰਧ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਸੁਹੰਦੇ ।

van vich falai vanaasapat bahu ras gandh sugandh suhande |

In the forest adorns the vegetation of variegated colours.

ਅੰਬ ਸਦਾ ਫਲ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਆੜੂ ਸੇਵ ਅਨਾਰ ਫਲੰਦੇ ।

anb sadaa fal sohane aarroo sev anaar falande |

Mango is always considered a nice fruit and so is the peach, apple, pomegranate etc. which grows on trees.

ਦਾਖ ਬਿਜਉਰੀ ਜਾਮਣੂ ਖਿਰਣੀ ਤੂਤ ਖਜੂਰਿ ਅਨੰਦੇ ।

daakh bijauree jaamanoo khiranee toot khajoor anande |

Lemon sized grapes, plums, mimosaceous, mulberry, dates etc. all are delight giving fruits.

ਪੀਲੂ ਪੇਝੂ ਬੇਰ ਬਹੁ ਕੇਲੇ ਤੇ ਅਖਨੋਟ ਬਣੰਦੇ ।

peeloo pejhoo ber bahu kele te akhanott banande |

Pilu, pejhu, ber, walnut, bananas, (all small and big Indian fruits) also grow on (Indian) trees.

ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਭਾਵਨਿ ਅਕਟਿਡਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਫਲ ਤਜਿ ਅਕਿ ਵਸੰਦੇ ।

mool na bhaavan akattidd amrit fal taj ak vasande |

But the grasshopper does not like them all and jumps to sit on akk, the wild plant of sandy region.

ਜੇ ਥਣ ਜੋਕ ਲਵਾਈਐ ਦੁਧੁ ਨ ਪੀਐ ਲੋਹੂ ਗੰਦੇ ।

je than jok lavaaeeai dudh na peeai lohoo gande |

If a leech is put on the teat of cow or buffalo, it will suck impure blood and not milk.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਗਣਤੀ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਝਾਖ ਝਖੰਦੇ ।

saadhasangat gur sabad sun ganatee andar jhaakh jhakhande |

Even after listening to the Word of the Guru in the holy congregation those who toss between the feelings of loss and profit.

ਕਪਟ ਸਨੇਹਿ ਨ ਥੇਹਿ ਜੁੜੰਦੇ ।੧੯।

kapatt sanehi na thehi jurrande |19|

Their false love cannot reach any place.
