ਕਿਚਪਚਾਇ ਜੋਧਾ ਸਮੁਹਾਵੈ ॥

kichapachaae jodhaa samuhaavai |

ਚਟਪਟ ਸੁਭਟ ਬਿਕਟ ਕਟਿ ਜਾਵੈ ॥

chattapatt subhatt bikatt katt jaavai |

The enraged gallant ones came ahead but were cut instantly.

ਜੂਝਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਜੇ ਦੇਹੀ ॥

joojh praan sanamukh je dehee |

ਡਾਰਿ ਬਿਵਾਨ ਬਰੰਗਨਿ ਲੇਹੀ ॥੨੫॥

ddaar bivaan barangan lehee |25|

They relinquished their souls and were taken away by the fairies in the palanquins (of death).(25)
