ਪਿਖਿ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਦਸਾ ਬਿਸਮੈ ਹੁਇ ਊਧਵ ਯੌ ਉਚਰੋ ॥

pikh gvaaran kee ih bhaat dasaa bisamai hue aoodhav yau ucharo |

ਹਮ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੋ ਬਲਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਘਨੀ ਇਹ ਕਾਮ ਕਰੋ ॥

ham jaanat hai tumaree har so bal preet ghanee ih kaam karo |

Seeing such a state of gopis, Udhava marveled over it and said, “I know that you are immensely in love with Krishna,

ਜੋਊ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਪਠਿਯੋ ਤੁਮ ਪੈ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਇਹ ਰਾਵਲ ਭੇਖਨ ਅੰਗਿ ਧਰੋ ॥

joaoo sayaam patthiyo tum pai ham ko ih raaval bhekhan ang dharo |

“But you are advised not to assume the garb of Yogins

ਤਜਿ ਕੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੇ ਪੁਨਿ ਕਾਜ ਸਭੈ ਸਖੀ ਮੋਰੇ ਹੀ ਧ︀ਯਾਨ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਅਰੋ ॥੯੦੮॥

taj kai grih ke pun kaaj sabhai sakhee more hee dhayaan ke beech aro |908|

I have been sent by Krishna to you ask you to forsake your homely duties and only meditate on Krishna.”908.
