ਹੋਹੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਸੰਗਿ ਵਿਹਾਵੇ ॥

hohu kripaal suaamee mere santaan sang vihaave |

Be Merciful, O my Lord and Master, that I may pass my life in the Society of the Saints.

ਤੁਧਹੁ ਭੁਲੇ ਸਿ ਜਮਿ ਜਮਿ ਮਰਦੇ ਤਿਨ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਚੁਕਨਿ ਹਾਵੇ ॥੧॥

tudhahu bhule si jam jam marade tin kade na chukan haave |1|

Those who forget You are born only to die and be reincarnated again; their sufferings will never end. ||1||
