Prabhaatee, Fifth Mehl:

ਗੁਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਕਰਤ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

gur gur karat sadaa sukh paaeaa |

Chanting Guru, Guru, I have found eternal peace.

ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਭਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ਅਪਣਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਪਿ ਜਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

deen deaal bhe kirapaalaa apanaa naam aap japaaeaa |1| rahaau |

God, Merciful to the meek, has become kind and compassionate; He has inspired me to chant His Name. ||1||Pause||

ਸੰਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਭਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ॥

santasangat mil bheaa pragaas |

Joining the Society of the Saints, I am illumined and enlightened.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਈ ਆਸ ॥੧॥

har har japat pooran bhee aas |1|

Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, my hopes have been fulfilled. ||1||

ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਸੂਖ ਮਨਿ ਵੂਠੇ ॥

sarab kaliaan sookh man vootthe |

I am blessed with total salvation, and my mind is filled with peace.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੂਠੇ ॥੨॥੧੨॥

har gun gaae gur naanak tootthe |2|12|

I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord; O Nanak, the Guru has been gracious to me. ||2||12||
