ਅਗਨਤ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਨੈ ਕੋ ਭਜੈ ਜੁ ਸੁਰ ਕਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ॥

aganat maare ganai ko bhajai ju sur kar traas |

Innumerable gods were killed and innumerable ran away in fear.

ਧਾਰਿ ਧਿਆਨ ਮਨ ਸਿਵਾ ਕੋ ਤਕੀ ਪੁਰੀ ਕੈਲਾਸ ॥੧੯॥

dhaar dhiaan man sivaa ko takee puree kailaas |19|

All (the remaining) gods, meditating on Shiva, went towards Kailash mountain.19.

ਦੇਵਨ ਕੋ ਧਨੁ ਧਾਮ ਸਭ ਦੈਤਨ ਲੀਓ ਛਿਨਾਇ ॥

devan ko dhan dhaam sabh daitan leeo chhinaae |

The demons seized all the abodes and wealth of gods.

ਦਏ ਕਾਢਿ ਸੁਰ ਧਾਮ ਤੇ ਬਸੇ ਸਿਵ ਪੁਰੀ ਜਾਇ ॥੨੦॥

de kaadt sur dhaam te base siv puree jaae |20|

They drove them out of the city of gods, the gods then came to live in the city of Shiva.20.

ਕਿਤਕਿ ਦਿਵਸ ਬੀਤੇ ਤਹਾ ਨ੍ਰਹਾਵਨ ਨਿਕਸੀ ਦੇਵਿ ॥

kitak divas beete tahaa nrahaavan nikasee dev |

After several days goddess came to take a bath there.

ਬਿਧਿ ਪੂਰਬ ਸਭ ਦੇਵਤਨ ਕਰੀ ਦੇਵਿ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ॥੨੧॥

bidh poorab sabh devatan karee dev kee sev |21|

All the gods, according to the prescribed method, made obeisance to her.21.
