ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਹੁ ਛੋਰੇ ॥
eih bidh sasatr asatr bahu chhore |
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਕੇ ਭਟ ਝਕਝੋਰੇ ॥
nrip bibek ke bhatt jhakajhore |
In this way, many warriors of king Vivek were given a jerk and they left their arms and weapons
ਆਪਨ ਚਲਾ ਨਿਸਰਿ ਤਬ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
aapan chalaa nisar tab raajaa |
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਬਾਜਨ ਬਾਜਾ ॥੨੯੧॥
bhaat bhaat ke baajan baajaa |291|
Then the king himself moved and many types of musical instruments were played.64.291.
ਦੁਹੁ ਦਿਸਿ ਪੜਾ ਨਿਸਾਨੈ ਘਾਤਾ ॥
duhu dis parraa nisaanai ghaataa |
ਮਹਾ ਸਬਦ ਧੁਨਿ ਉਠੀ ਅਘਾਤਾ ॥
mahaa sabad dhun utthee aghaataa |
The trumpets sounded form both the sides and there were thundering noises
ਬਰਖਾ ਬਾਣ ਗਗਨ ਗਯੋ ਛਾਈ ॥
barakhaa baan gagan gayo chhaaee |
ਭੂਤਿ ਪਿਸਾਚ ਰਹੇ ਉਰਝਾਈ ॥੨੯੨॥
bhoot pisaach rahe urajhaaee |292|
The rain of arrows spread on the whole sky and the ghosts and fiends also got entangled.65.292.
ਝਿਮਿ ਝਿਮਿ ਸਾਰੁ ਗਗਨ ਤੇ ਬਰਖਾ ॥
jhim jhim saar gagan te barakhaa |
ਭਲ ਭਲ ਸੁਭਟ ਪਖਰੀਆ ਪਰਖਾ ॥
bhal bhal subhatt pakhareea parakhaa |
There was steady rain of iron from the sky and there was testing of the great warriors alongwith it
ਸਿਮਟੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਅਨੰਤ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
simatte subhatt anant apaaraa |
ਪਰਿ ਗਈ ਅੰਧ ਧੁੰਧ ਬਿਕਰਾਰਾ ॥੨੯੩॥
par gee andh dhundh bikaraaraa |293|
The innumerable warriors gathered together and got contracted there was dreadful mist on all the four sides.66.293.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਤਬ ਰੋਸਹਿ ਭਰਾ ॥
nrip bibek tab roseh bharaa |
ਸਭ ਸੈਨਾ ਕਹਿ ਆਇਸੁ ਕਰਾ ॥
sabh sainaa keh aaeis karaa |
The king Vivek, getting enraged gave orders to his whole army all those warriors who arrayed themselves in an army
ਉਮਡੇ ਸੂਰ ਸੁ ਫਉਜ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
aumadde soor su fauj banaaee |
ਨਾਮ ਤਾਸ ਕਬਿ ਦੇਤ ਬਤਾਈ ॥੨੯੪॥
naam taas kab det bataaee |294|
All those warriors who arrayed themselves in an army rushed forward, the poet now tells their names.67.294.
ਸਿਰੀ ਪਾਖਰੀ ਟੋਪ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
siree paakharee ttop savaare |
ਚਿਲਤਹ ਰਾਗ ਸੰਜੋਵਾ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
chilatah raag sanjovaa ddaare |
The warriors wearing helmets on their heads and armour is on their bodies and
ਚਲੇ ਜੁਧ ਕੇ ਕਾਜ ਸੁ ਬੀਰਾ ॥
chale judh ke kaaj su beeraa |
ਸੂਖਤ ਭਯੋ ਨਦਨ ਕੋ ਨੀਰਾ ॥੨੯੫॥
sookhat bhayo nadan ko neeraa |295|
Bedecked with various kinds of arms and weapons, marched for fighting the water of the streams dried up in fear.68.295.
