Gauree, Fifth Mehl:

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਤੁਮ ਭਏ ਸਮਰਥ ਅੰਗਾ ॥

jaa kau tum bhe samarath angaa |

Those who have You on their side, O All-powerful Lord

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਾਲੰਗਾ ॥੧॥

taa kau kachh naahee kaalangaa |1|

- no black stain can stick to them. ||1||

ਮਾਧਉ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹੈ ਆਸ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ॥

maadhau jaa kau hai aas tumaaree |

O Lord of wealth, those who place their hopes in You

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

taa kau kachh naahee sansaaree |1| rahaau |

- nothing of the world can touch them at all. ||1||Pause||

ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਹੋਇ ॥

jaa kai hiradai tthaakur hoe |

Those whose hearts are filled with their Lord and Master

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਸਹਸਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥੨॥

taa kau sahasaa naahee koe |2|

- no anxiety can affect them. ||2||

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਤੁਮ ਦੀਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧੀਰ ॥

jaa kau tum deenee prabh dheer |

Those, unto whom You give Your consolation, God

ਤਾ ਕੈ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਪੀਰ ॥੩॥

taa kai nikatt na aavai peer |3|

- pain does not even approach them. ||3||

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੈ ਸੋ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

kahu naanak mai so gur paaeaa |

Says Nanak, I have found that Guru,

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਦੇਖਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੪੧॥੧੧੦॥

paarabraham pooran dekhaaeaa |4|41|110|

who has shown me the Perfect, Supreme Lord God. ||4||41||110||
