ਸਹਸ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਲਖ ਕੰਮਿ ਨ ਆਵਹੀ ।

sehas siaanap lakh kam na aavahee |

Millions of skills make no avail.

ਗਿਆਨ ਧਿਆਨ ਉਨਮਾਨੁ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਵਹੀ ।

giaan dhiaan unamaan ant na paavahee |

Myriads of knowledges, concentrations and inferences are unable to know the mysteries of Lord.

ਲਖ ਸਸੀਅਰ ਲਖ ਭਾਨੁ ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਧ︀ਯਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh saseear lakh bhaan ahinis dhayaavahee |

Millions of moons and suns adore Him day and night.

ਲਖ ਪਰਕਿਰਤਿ ਪਰਾਣ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh parakirat paraan karam kamaavahee |

And millions of people remain imbued with humility.

ਲਖ ਲਖ ਗਰਬ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਲੱਜ ਲਜਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh lakh garab gumaan laj lajaavahee |

Millions are worshipping the Lord according to their own religious traditions.

ਲਖ ਲਖ ਦੀਨ ਈਮਾਨ ਤਾੜੀ ਲਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh lakh deen eemaan taarree laavahee |

Millions are worshipping the Lord according to their own religious traditions.

ਭਾਉ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਹੀ ।੭।

bhaau bhagat bhagavaan sach samaavahee |7|

Only through loving devotion one can merge in the Lord, the absolute truth.
