Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਰੇ ਮੂੜੑੇ ਆਨ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਤ ਜਾਈ ॥

re moorrae aan kaahe kat jaaee |

You fool: why are you going somewhere else?

ਸੰਗਿ ਮਨੋਹਰੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹੈ ਰੇ ਭੂਲਿ ਭੂਲਿ ਬਿਖੁ ਖਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sang manohar amrit hai re bhool bhool bikh khaaee |1| rahaau |

The Enticing Ambrosial Amrit is with you, but you are deluded, totally deluded, and you eat poison. ||1||Pause||

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਤੁਰ ਅਨੂਪ ਬਿਧਾਤੇ ਤਿਸ ਸਿਉ ਰੁਚ ਨਹੀ ਰਾਈ ॥

prabh sundar chatur anoop bidhaate tis siau ruch nahee raaee |

God is Beautiful, Wise and Incomparable; He is the Creator, the Architect of Destiny, but you have no love for Him.

ਮੋਹਨਿ ਸਿਉ ਬਾਵਰ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਿਓ ਝੂਠਿ ਠਗਉਰੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥

mohan siau baavar man mohio jhootth tthgauree paaee |1|

The mad-man's mind is enticed by Maya, the enticer; he has taken the intoxicating drug of falsehood. ||1||

ਭਇਓ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਦੁਖ ਹਰਤਾ ਸੰਤਨ ਸਿਉ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ ॥

bheo deaal kripaal dukh harataa santan siau ban aaee |

The Destroyer of pain has become kind and compassionate to me, and I am in tune with the Saints.

ਸਗਲ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਘਰੈ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਏ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੨॥੨੧॥੪੪॥

sagal nidhaan gharai meh paae kahu naanak jot samaaee |2|21|44|

I have obtained all treasures within the home of my own heart; says Nanak, my light has merged into the Light. ||2||21||44||
