ਆਵਤ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਭੀਖ ਮਾਗਨਿ ਭਿਖਾਰੀ ਦੀਨ ਦੇਖਤ ਅਧੀਨਹਿ ਨਿਰਾਸੋ ਨ ਬਿਡਾਰ ਹੈ ।

aavat hai jaa kai bheekh maagan bhikhaaree deen dekhat adheeneh niraaso na biddaar hai |

Whosoever is visited by a beggar for alms, impressed by his humility, the donor never turns him away disappointed.

ਬੈਠਤ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਦੁਆਰ ਆਸਾ ਕੈ ਬਿਡਾਰ ਸ੍ਵਾਨ ਅੰਤ ਕਰੁਨਾ ਕੈ ਤੋਰਿ ਟੂਕਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਡਾਰਿ ਹੈ ।
