Prabhaatee, Third Mehl:

ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਨ ਜੋਗੁ ॥

jo teree saranaaee har jeeo tin too raakhan jog |

Those who enter Your Sanctuary, Dear Lord, are saved by Your Protective Power.

ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਮੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਸੂਝੈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਹੋਆ ਨ ਹੋਗੁ ॥੧॥

tudh jevadd mai avar na soojhai naa ko hoaa na hog |1|

I cannot even conceive of any other as Great as You. There never was, and there never shall be. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥

har jeeo sadaa teree saranaaee |

O Dear Lord, I shall remain in Your Sanctuary forever.

ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਏਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jiau bhaavai tiau raakhahu mere suaamee eeh teree vaddiaaee |1| rahaau |

As it pleases You, You save me, O my Lord and Master; this is Your Glorious Greatness. ||1||Pause||

ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥

jo teree saranaaee har jeeo tin kee kareh pratipaal |

O Dear Lord, You cherish and sustain those who seek Your Sanctuary.

ਆਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਪੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ॥੨॥

aap kripaa kar raakhahu har jeeo pohi na sakai jamakaal |2|

O Dear Lord, the Messenger of Death cannot even touch those whom You, in Your Mercy, protect. ||2||

ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਸਚੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਨਾ ਓਹ ਘਟੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

teree saranaaee sachee har jeeo naa oeh ghattai na jaae |

True Is Your Sanctuary, O Dear Lord; it never diminishes or goes away.

ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਛੋਡਿ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਲਾਗੈ ਓਹੁ ਜੰਮੈ ਤੈ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਇ ॥੩॥

jo har chhodd doojai bhaae laagai ohu jamai tai mar jaae |3|

Those who abandon the Lord, and become attached to the love of duality, shall continue to die and be reborn. ||3||

ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨਾ ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹਿ ॥

jo teree saranaaee har jeeo tinaa dookh bhookh kichh naeh |

Those who seek Your Sanctuary, Dear Lord, shall never suffer in pain or hunger for anything.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਸਦਾ ਤੂ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥੪॥੪॥

naanak naam salaeh sadaa too sachai sabad samaeh |4|4|

O Nanak, praise the Naam, the Name of the Lord forever, and merge in the True Word of the Shabad. ||4||4||
