ਅਸਤਾਚਲ ਸੂਰਜ ਗਯੋ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਮੰਡਰਾਇ ॥

asataachal sooraj gayo rahiyo chandr manddaraae |

The Sun had set, and the Moon was at its full flight.

ਲਪਟਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਪਿਯ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਨ ਸੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਪਿਯਨ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥੭॥

lapatt rahiyo piy triyan so triyaa piyan lapattaae |7|
