ਰਾਇ ਚਿਤ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਿਚਾਰੋ ॥

raae chit ih bhaat bichaaro |

ਇਹਾ ਸਿਖ ਕੋਊ ਨ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥

eihaa sikh koaoo na hamaaro |

:By living her my righteousness is destroyed,

ਯਾਹਿ ਭਜੇ ਮੇਰੋ ਧ੍ਰਮ ਜਾਈ ॥

yaeh bhaje mero dhram jaaee |

ਭਾਜਿ ਚਲੌ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਦੇਤ ਗਹਾਈ ॥੪੧॥

bhaaj chalau triy det gahaaee |41|

But if I try to run away, she will get me caught.(41)

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਯਾਕੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੋ ॥

taa te yaakee usatat karo |

ਚਰਿਤ ਖੇਲਿ ਯਾ ਕੋ ਪਰਹਰੋ ॥

charit khel yaa ko paraharo |

‘It will be better if I praise her and through dramatisation get rid of her.

ਬਿਨੁ ਰਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਤਰਨਿ ਜਿਯ ਮਾਰੈ ॥

bin rat karai taran jiy maarai |

‘Without agreeing to commit sex, she will kill me.

ਕਵਨ ਸਿਖ︀ਯ ਮੁਹਿ ਆਨਿ ਉਬਾਰੈ ॥੪੨॥

kavan sikhay muhi aan ubaarai |42|

‘I wish some disciple of mine could come and save me.’(42)
