ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ਚਲਣੁ ਜਾਣਿਆ ।

guramukh saadhoo sang chalan jaaniaa |

Gurmukhs have learnt the technique of life in the holy congregation.

ਚੇਤਿ ਬਸੰਤ ਸੁਰੰਗੁ ਸਭ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣਿਆ ।

chet basant surang sabh rang maaniaa |

They have consciously enjoyed the delight of the spring season of life.

ਸਾਵਣ ਲਹਰਿ ਤਰੰਗ ਨੀਰੁ ਨੀਵਾਣਿਆ ।

saavan lehar tarang neer neevaaniaa |

They are elated like the water of rainy season (Savan) but still they (gurmukhs) have made water of hopes and desires go down and downward.

ਸਜਣ ਮੇਲੁ ਸੁ ਢੰਗ ਚੋਜ ਵਿਡਾਣਿਆ ।

sajan mel su dtang choj viddaaniaa |

Meeting with such persons is wonderfully delightful.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੰਥੁ ਨਿਪੰਗੁ ਦਰਿ ਪਰਵਾਣਿਆ ।

guramukh panth nipang dar paravaaniaa |

They way of gurmukhs is devoid of mire and is accepted in the court of the Lord.

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਮੇਲੁ ਅਭੰਗੁ ਸਤਿ ਸੁਹਾਣਿਆ ।੯।

guramat mel abhang sat suhaaniaa |9|

A meeting through the wisdom of the Guru is obstruction free, true and delightful.
