ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਲੇਤ ਸਭ ਧੋਇ ਮਗਾਈ ॥

praat let sabh dhoe magaaee |

ਸਭ ਹੀ ਸਿਖ︀ਯਨ ਕੋ ਬੰਧਵਾਈ ॥

sabh hee sikhayan ko bandhavaaee |

In the morning all the washed and the cleaned ones were brought and were worn by the Sikhs.

ਬਚੀ ਸੁ ਬੇਚਿ ਤੁਰਤ ਤਹ ਲਈ ॥

bachee su bech turat teh lee |

ਬਾਕੀ ਬਚੀ ਸਿਪਾਹਿਨ ਦਈ ॥੯॥

The left over were sold and the remaining were given out to the policemen.(9)
