ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਤਬ ਕੰਸ ਕੋ ਲਯੋ ਹਜੂਰਿ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥

augrasain tab kans ko layo hajoor bulaae |

ਕਹਿਓ ਸਾਥ ਤੁਮ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਦੇਹੁ ਭੰਡਾਰੁ ਖੁਲਾਇ ॥੨੯॥

kahio saath tum jaae kai dehu bhanddaar khulaae |29|

Then Ugarsain called Kansa near him and said, “Go and open the doors of the stores for charity.”29.

ਅਉਰ ਸਮਗਰੀ ਅੰਨ ਕੀ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਸਿ ॥

aaur samagaree an kee lai jaa taa ke paas |

ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮੁ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਤਬੈ ਇਉ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੩੦॥

kar pranaam taa ko tabai iau kariyo aradaas |30|

Bringing the materials like corn etc. and bowing down, he requested Vasudev thus.30.

ਕਾਲ ਰਾਤ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਬ︀ਯਾਹ ਹੈ ਕੰਸਹਿ ਕਹੀ ਸੁਨਾਇ ॥

kaal raatr ko bayaah hai kanseh kahee sunaae |

ਬਾਸੁਦੇਵ ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਕਹੀ ਭਲੀ ਜੁ ਤੁਮੈ ਸੁਹਾਇ ॥੩੧॥

baasudev purohit kahee bhalee ju tumai suhaae |31|

Kansa said, “The marriage has been fixed for the night of Amavas (the dark night) ” on this the priest of Vasudev gave his acceptance saying “as you please”.31.

ਕੰਸ ਕਹਿਓ ਕਰਿ ਜੋਰਿ ਤਬ ਸਬੈ ਬਾਤ ਕੋ ਭੇਵ ॥

kans kahio kar jor tab sabai baat ko bhev |

ਸਾਧਿ ਸਾਧਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਅਸ ਮਾਨੀ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ॥੩੨॥

saadh saadh panddit kahiyo as maanee basudev |32|

Then coming on this side, Kansa with folded hands related all the happenings and when the Pundits came to know that the people of vasudev had accepted the date and time of wedding, then all gave their blessings to him within their minds.32.
