ਬਾਬਾ ਬੋਲੇ ਨਾਥ ਜੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਚੁ ਮੁਖਹੁ ਅਲਾਈ ।

baabaa bole naath jee sabad sunahu sach mukhahu alaaee |

Baba (further) said, O respected Nath! Please listen to the truth that I utter.

ਬਾਝੋ ਸਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਹੋਰੁ ਕਰਾਮਾਤਿ ਅਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਾਹੀ ।

baajho sache naam de hor karaamaat asaan te naahee |

Without the true Name no else miracle I have.

ਬਸਤਰਿ ਪਹਿਰੌ ਅਗਨਿ ਕੈ ਬਰਫ ਹਿਮਾਲੇ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਛਾਈ ।

basatar pahirau agan kai baraf himaale mandar chhaaee |

I may wear the clothes of fire and build my house in the Himalayas.

ਕਰੌ ਰਸੋਈ ਸਾਰਿ ਦੀ ਸਗਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਥਿ ਚਲਾਈ ।

karau rasoee saar dee sagalee dharatee nath chalaaee |

I may eat the iron and make earth move to my orders.

ਏਵਡੁ ਕਰੀ ਵਿਥਾਰਿ ਕਉ ਸਗਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਕੀ ਜਾਈ ।

evadd karee vithaar kau sagalee dharatee hakee jaaee |

I may expand myself so much that I could push the earth.

ਤੋਲੀ ਧਰਤਿ ਅਕਾਸਿ ਦੁਇ ਪਿਛੇ ਛਾਬੇ ਟੰਕੁ ਚੜਾਈ ।

tolee dharat akaas due pichhe chhaabe ttank charraaee |

I may weigh the earth and the sky against few grams of weight.

ਇਹਿ ਬਲੁ ਰਖਾ ਆਪਿ ਵਿਚਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਆਖਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਪਾਸਿ ਕਰਾਈ ।

eihi bal rakhaa aap vich jis aakhaa tis paas karaaee |

I may have so much of power that I push aside anybody by saying.

ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਬਾਦਰਿ ਛਾਈ ।੪੩।

sat naam bin baadar chhaaee |43|

But without the true Name, these all (powers) are momentary like the Shadow of the clouds.
