ਰੂਪ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਲਖ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਪੁਰੀ ਵਸੰਦੇ ।

roop saroop anoop lakh indrapuree vasande |

Millions of handsome people reside in the Indrapuri;

ਰੰਗ ਬਿਰੰਗ ਸੁਰੰਗ ਲਖ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਰਹੰਦੇ ।

rang birang surang lakh baikuntth rahande |

Millions of beautiful people reside in the heaven;

ਲਖ ਜੋਬਨ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਲਖ ਲਖ ਵੇਸ ਕਰੰਦੇ ।

lakh joban seegaar lakh lakh ves karande |

Millions of young persons wear many types of attires;

ਲਖ ਦੀਵੇ ਲਖ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਜੋਤਿ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੰਦੇ ।

lakh deeve lakh taariaan jot sooraj chande |

Millions are the lights of millions of lamps, stars, suns and moons;

ਰਤਨ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਖ ਮਣੀ ਜਗਮਗ ਟਹਕੰਦੇ ।

ratan javaahar lakh manee jagamag ttahakande |

Millions of lights of jewels and rubies also glitter.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲੁ ਪਿਰਮ ਰਸ ਜੋਤੀ ਨ ਪੁਜੰਦੇ ।੮।

guramukh sukh fal piram ras jotee na pujande |8|

But all these lights cannot reach up to the light of the elixir of love i.e. all these lights are pale before it.
