ਸਹਰ ਅਕਬਰਾਬਾਦ ਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕੀ ਹੀਨ ॥

sehar akabaraabaad mai triyaa kriyaa kee heen |

In the city of Akbarabad, a woman, devoid of good deeds, used to live.

ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਅਰੁ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਸਭ ਤਿਨ ਮੈ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥੧॥

mantr jantr ar tantr sabh tin mai adhik prabeen |1|

She was well versed in the magical charms and incantations.(I)

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਮਤੀ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਲੋਗ ਬਖਾਨਹਿ ਤਾਹਿ ॥

sree anuraag matee kuar log bakhaaneh taeh |

She was known as Kunwar Anuraag Mati and even the consorts of

ਸੁਰੀ ਆਸੁਰੀ ਕਿੰਨ੍ਰਨੀ ਰੀਝਿ ਰਹਤ ਲਖਿ ਵਾਹਿ ॥੨॥

suree aasuree kinranee reejh rehat lakh vaeh |2|
