Salok, Fourth Mehl:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥

satigur sevan se vaddabhaagee |

Those who serve the True Guru are very fortunate.

ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਿਨੑਾ ਏਕ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥

sachai sabad jinaa ek liv laagee |

They are lovingly attuned to the True Shabad, the Word of the One God.

ਗਿਰਹ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਮਹਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਧੀ ॥

girah kuttanb meh sehaj samaadhee |

In their own household and family, they are in natural Samaadhi.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇ ਸਚੇ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥੧॥

naanak naam rate se sache bairaagee |1|

O Nanak, those who are attuned to the Naam are truly detached from the world. ||1||
