ਬੰਦਸਾਲ ਕੇ ਮਾਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਰ ਦਿਯਾ ਉਠਾਇ ਸੁਤ ॥

bandasaal ke maah nrip bar diyaa utthaae sut |

The Raja had sent his son to the jail,

ਬਹੁਰੋ ਲਿਯਾ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਭੋਰ ਹੋਤ ਅਪਨੇ ਨਿਕਟਿ ॥੧॥

bahuro liyaa bulaae bhor hot apane nikatt |1|

And called him back in the morning again.(1)
