Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਮਨ ਓਇ ਦਿਨਸ ਧੰਨਿ ਪਰਵਾਨਾਂ ॥

man oe dinas dhan paravaanaan |

O my mind, blessed and approved is that day,

ਸਫਲ ਤੇ ਘਰੀ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਸੁਹਾਵੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਗਿਆਨਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

safal te gharee sanjog suhaave satigur sang giaanaan |1| rahaau |

and fruitful is that hour, and lucky is that moment, when the True Guru blesses me with spirtual wisdom. ||1||Pause||

ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁਭਾਗ ਧੰਨਿ ਸੋਹਾਗਾ ਧੰਨਿ ਦੇਤ ਜਿਨਿ ਮਾਨਾਂ ॥

dhan subhaag dhan sohaagaa dhan det jin maanaan |

Blessed is my good destiny, and blessed is my Husband Lord. Blessed are those upon whom honor is bestowed.

ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਤੁਮੑਰਾ ਸਭੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਹੀਂਉ ਕੀਓ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾਂ ॥੧॥

eihu tan tumaraa sabh grihu dhan tumaraa heenau keeo kurabaanaan |1|

This body is Yours, all my home and wealth are Yours; I offer my heart as a sacrifice to You. ||1||

ਕੋਟਿ ਲਾਖ ਰਾਜ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਏ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਪੇਖਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਨਾਂ ॥

kott laakh raaj sukh paae ik nimakh pekh drisattaanaan |

I obtain tens of thousands and millions of regal pleasures, if I gaze upon Your Blessed Vision, even for an instant.

ਜਉ ਕਹਹੁ ਮੁਖਹੁ ਸੇਵਕ ਇਹ ਬੈਸੀਐ ਸੁਖ ਨਾਨਕ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਾਂ ॥੨॥੨੩॥੪੬॥

jau kahahu mukhahu sevak ih baiseeai sukh naanak ant na jaanaan |2|23|46|

When You, O God, say, "My servant, stay here with me", Nanak knows unlimited peace. ||2||23||46||
