ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:

ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੈ ਸੋਈ ਸੁਖੁ ਜਾਨਾ ॥

jo kichh karai soee sukh jaanaa |

Whatever He does makes me happy.

ਮਨੁ ਅਸਮਝੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਪਤੀਆਨਾ ॥

man asamajh saadhasang pateeaanaa |

The ignorant mind is encouraged, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਡੋਲਨ ਤੇ ਚੂਕਾ ਠਹਰਾਇਆ ॥

ddolan te chookaa tthaharaaeaa |

Now, it does not waver at all; it has become stable and steady.

ਸਤਿ ਮਾਹਿ ਲੇ ਸਤਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੧॥

sat maeh le sat samaaeaa |1|

Receiving Truth, it is merged in the True Lord. ||1||

ਦੂਖੁ ਗਇਆ ਸਭੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਗਇਆ ॥

dookh geaa sabh rog geaa |

Pain is gone, and all illness is gone.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਮਾਨੀ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਭਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

prabh kee aagiaa man meh maanee mahaa purakh kaa sang bheaa |1| rahaau |

I have accepted the Will of God in my mind, associating with the Great Person, the Guru. ||1||Pause||

ਸਗਲ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ॥

sagal pavitr sarab niramalaa |

All is pure; all is immaculate.

ਜੋ ਵਰਤਾਏ ਸੋਈ ਭਲਾ ॥

jo varataae soee bhalaa |

Whatever exists is good.

ਜਹ ਰਾਖੈ ਸੋਈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਥਾਨੁ ॥

jeh raakhai soee mukat thaan |

Wherever He keeps me, that is the place of liberation for me.

ਜੋ ਜਪਾਏ ਸੋਈ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੨॥

jo japaae soee naam |2|

Whatever He makes me chant, is His Name. ||2||

ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਜਹ ਸਾਧ ਪਗ ਧਰਹਿ ॥

atthasatth teerath jeh saadh pag dhareh |

That is the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage, where the Holy place their feet,

ਤਹ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੁ ਜਹ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਚਰਹਿ ॥

teh baikuntth jeh naam uchareh |

and that is heaven, where the Naam is chanted.

ਸਰਬ ਅਨੰਦ ਜਬ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥

sarab anand jab darasan paaeeai |

All bliss comes, when one obtains the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.

ਰਾਮ ਗੁਣਾ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਈਐ ॥੩॥

raam gunaa nit nit har gaaeeai |3|

I sing continuously, continually, the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||

ਆਪੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਬਿਆਪਿ ॥

aape ghatt ghatt rahiaa biaap |

The Lord Himself is pervading in each and every heart.

ਦਇਆਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਪਰਗਟ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥

deaal purakh paragatt parataap |

The glory of the Merciful Lord is radiant and manifest.

ਕਪਟ ਖੁਲਾਨੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਨਾਠੇ ਦੂਰੇ ॥

kapatt khulaane bhram naatthe doore |

The shutters are opened, and doubts have run away.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ ਪੂਰੇ ॥੪॥੧੪॥੨੫॥

naanak kau gur bhette poore |4|14|25|

Nanak has met with the Perfect Guru. ||4||14||25||
