ਸੂਰਛਟ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਕੋ ਜਾਨਿਯੈ ॥

soorachhatt tih naam tarun ko jaaniyai |

ਛਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਭਏ ਅਧਿਕ ਹਿਤ ਮਾਨਿਯੈ ॥

chhatr ket nrip bhe adhik hit maaniyai |

She was known as Soorchhat and name of the Raja was Chatarket.

ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਸਰਿਤਾ ਤਟ ਭੈਸ ਚਰਾਵਈ ॥

chandrabhagaa saritaa tatt bhais charaavee |

The buffaloes were grazed at the banks of the Chandrabhaga Stream

ਹੋ ਜਹੀ ਰਾਵ ਨਾਵਨ ਹਿਤ ਨਿਤਪ੍ਰਤ ਆਵਈ ॥੪॥

ho jahee raav naavan hit nitaprat aavee |4|

And the Raja used to come to bathe himself there.(4)
