BIJAI STANZA

ਚੰਦ ਕੀ ਅੰਸ ਚਕੋਰਨ ਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਮੋਰਨ ਬਿਦੁਲਤਾ ਅਨਮਾਨੀ ॥

chand kee ans chakoran kai kar moran bidulataa anamaanee |

She was looking like moon to chakors and lightning in clouds to the peacocks.

ਮਤ ਗਇੰਦਨ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਬਧੂ ਭੁਨਸਾਰ ਛਟਾ ਰਵਿ ਕੀ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀ ॥

mat geindan indr badhoo bhunasaar chhattaa rav kee jeea jaanee |

She appeared as power-incarnate and the beauty of the sun at dawn to the intoxicated elephants.

ਦੇਵਨ ਦੋਖਨ ਕੀ ਹਰਤਾ ਅਰ ਦੇਵਨ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕਰ ਮਾਨੀ ॥

devan dokhan kee harataa ar devan kaal kriyaa kar maanee |

To the gods she seemed like the destroyer of sufferings and the performer of the religious activities of all kinds.

ਦੇਸਨ ਸਿੰਧ ਦਿਸੇਸਨ ਬ੍ਰਿੰਧ ਜੋਗੇਸਨ ਗੰਗ ਕੈ ਰੰਗ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥੨੬੩॥

desan sindh disesan brindh jogesan gang kai rang pachhaanee |263|

She appeared as the ocean to the earth, all-pervading to all the directions and pure like Ganges to the Yogis.263.
