ਐਸ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਬਹੂਨ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਯੋ ॥

ais giaan sabahoon drirraayo |

ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਕੋਊ ਕਰਨ ਨ ਪਾਯੋ ॥

dharam karam koaoo karan na paayo |

Such a knowledge was given to all that none performed the action of Dharma.

ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੀਚ ਸਭੋ ਚਿਤ ਦੀਨਾ ॥

eih brit beech sabho chit deenaa |

ਅਸੁਰ ਬੰਸ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਭਯੋ ਛੀਨਾ ॥੧੫॥

asur bans taa te bhayo chheenaa |15|

Everyone’s mind was absorbed in such things and in this way, the clan of demons became weak.15.

ਨ੍ਰਹਾਵਨ ਦੈਤ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਈ ॥

nrahaavan dait na paavai koee |

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਸਨਾਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥

bin isanaan pavitr na hoee |

Such rules were propagated, that no demon could take a bath now, and without taking bath no one could become pure.

ਬਿਨੁ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਕੋਈ ਫੁਰੇ ਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾ ॥

bin pavitr koee fure na mantraa |

ਨਿਫਲ ਭਏ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਜੰਤ੍ਰਾ ॥੧੬॥

nifal bhe taa te sabh jantraa |16|

Without becoming pure, no mantra could be recited and this way, all the actions became fruitless.16.

ਦਸ ਸਹੰਸ੍ਰ ਬਰਖ ਕੀਅ ਰਾਜਾ ॥

das sahansr barakh keea raajaa |

ਸਭ ਜਗ ਮੋ ਮਤ ਐਸੁ ਪਰਾਜਾ ॥

sabh jag mo mat ais paraajaa |

In this way, Arhant ruled for ten thousand years and propagated his religion throughout the world.

ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਮਿਟਿ ਗਯੋ ॥

dharam karam sab hee mitt gayo |

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਛੀਨ ਅਸੁਰ ਕੁਲ ਭਯੋ ॥੧੭॥

taa te chheen asur kul bhayo |17|

The actions of Dharma ended in the word and in this way, the clan of demons became weak.17.

ਦੇਵ ਰਾਇ ਜੀਅ ਮੋ ਭਲੁ ਮਾਨਾ ॥

dev raae jeea mo bhal maanaa |

ਬਡਾ ਕਰਮੁ ਅਬ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਕਰਾਨਾ ॥

baddaa karam ab bisan karaanaa |

Indra, the king of gods, liked all this very much in his mind that Vishnu had done such a great thing for them.

ਆਨੰਦ ਬਢਾ ਸੋਕ ਮਿਟ ਗਯੋ ॥

aanand badtaa sok mitt gayo |

ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਸਬਹੂੰ ਬਧਾਵਾ ਭਯੋ ॥੧੮॥

ghar ghar sabahoon badhaavaa bhayo |18|

All of them forsaking grief, were filled with joy and the songs of happiness were sung in every home.18.
