ਜੇ ਮੂਰਖੁ ਸਮਝਾਈਐ ਸਮਝੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਛਾਂਵ ਨ ਧੁਪਾ ।

je moorakh samajhaaeeai samajhai naahee chhaanv na dhupaa |

ਅਖੀਂ ਪਰਖਿ ਨ ਜਾਣਈ ਪਿਤਲ ਸੁਇਨਾ ਕੈਹਾਂ ਰੁਪਾ ।

ਸਾਉ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਤੇਲ ਘਿਅ ਧਰਿਆ ਕੋਲਿ ਘੜੋਲਾ ਕੁਪਾ ।
