ਚੰਦ੍ਰਪੁਰੀ ਭੀਤਰ ਹੁਤੋ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਸੈਨ ਇਕ ਰਾਵ ॥

In Chandra Puri there lived a Raja, called Chandra Sen.

ਬਲ ਗੁਨ ਬੀਰਜ ਮੈ ਜਨੁਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਦਸੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੇ ਭਾਵ ॥੧॥

bal gun beeraj mai januk tridasesvar ke bhaav |1|

In power and intelligence he was embodiment of Lord Indra.(1)

ਭਾਗਵਤੀ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ॥

bhaagavatee taa kee triyaa jaa ko roop apaar |

His wife, Bhagwati, was bestowed with extreme beauty,

ਰਤਿ ਰਤਿਨਾਥ ਪਛਾਨਿ ਤਿਹ ਝੁਕਿ ਝੁਕਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਜੁਹਾਰ ॥੨॥

rat ratinaath pachhaan tih jhuk jhuk kareh juhaar |2|

Whom, even, the Cupid would bow to pay his obeisance.(2)

ਏਕ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੁਤੋ ਰਾਨੀ ਲਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥

ek purakh sundar huto raanee layo bulaae |

Once the Rani invited a very Handsome man,

ਭੋਗ ਅਧਿਕ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਕਿਯੋ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ॥੩॥

bhog adhik taa so kiyo hridai harakh upajaae |3|

She made love with him to her full satisfaction of her heart.(3)
